The Design
Operators demand choices and the Aerocrane Jib Arm delivers. The Aerocrane Jib Arm is completely modular in its design to afford maximum length variations. It is configured in lightweight yet sturdy one and two foot increments providing an arm reach of 3' to 8' 6".

The Construction
The Aerocrane Jib Arm is constructed from high-grade aluminum uni-beam, stainless steel couplings, and precision bearings. The essence of the Aerocrane Jib Arm is attention to detail. It is engineered for optimal distribution of weight and balance and delivers unequaled stability with minimum play and torque.

Bases for the Aerocrane Jib Arm
The Aerocrane Jib Arm can be mounted on most tripods, dollies, and camera support systems if they can support the combined weight factor of the Jib Arm, counterweights, fluid head and camera. Its interchangeable Mitchell/Eurocouple base adds a tremendous amount of flexibility to the system.
 

Special Features
Sealed brakes are continually adjustable providing the fluid-head feel to which most accomplished camera operators have become accustomed. This feature sets the Aerocrane Jib Arm apart, allowing the operator to go beyond the restrictions of conventional camera support systems. In addition, Aerocrane’s heavy duty four-way leveling head provides an extremely stable platform which compensates up to 5°.
    Two regular-sized shipping cases house the Aerocrane Jib Arm in its basic version (excluding counterweights), which allows you to construct an arm reach from 3' to 6'. The additional remote head package increases the arm reach to 8' 6".
    The Aerocrane sealed lead counterweights are of standard size
(12" x 5" x 2" full size and 12" x 5" x 1" for half-weights) and, combined with a sliding weight, will allow you to attain perfect balance of any camera package at any length.

 

The Aerocrane Jib Arm also features a fully adjustable front camera bracket and a choice of Mitchell or 150mm bowl offset arm which will support any camera head in any position with lens heights from 4" to 13'.
